Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PrepForScrum collects, why, and what rights you have. Questions or requests? Email support@prepforscrum.com.

Data we collect

• Account data: your name and email address when you register. Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes.
• Payment data: payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only the purchase status, amount, and your Stripe transaction reference.
• Usage data: your exam attempts, answers, and scores, so we can show you results, resume interrupted attempts, and analyze your weak spots. If you take the free practice exam without an account, the attempt is stored anonymously.
• Email signups: if you leave your email address (e.g. after the free practice exam), we store it to send you study-related information. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Hosting and processors

Our application is hosted on Vercel, and our database runs on Neon (PostgreSQL, EU region). Payments are processed by Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective data processing terms.

Analytics

We plan to use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It will only be loaded after your explicit consent via a cookie banner — never before. Until that banner is in place, no analytics or tracking scripts are active.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal data, its correction, or its deletion at any time. Deleting your account also removes your exam history. Email support@prepforscrum.com and we will take care of it. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Changes

If we add features that affect how we process data (for example analytics with consent), we will update this page before enabling them.
